Beth Corbin-Hsi, RN, CCRN

Co-Founder of Albuquerque Clinical Trials and Clinical Trials Administrator

Prior to the founding of Albuquerque Clinical Trials (ACT) Beth helped her husband, Dr. Steven Hsi, build Rio Grande Family Medicine, the private outpatient clinic affiliated with ACT. She has over 20 years experience in the clinical trials industry, first as a study coordinator and then as administrator.

"Within the next 5 years it is projected that there will be a severe shortage of experienced clinical investigative sites. There has been an explosion in the number of compounds coming down drug pipelines. The pressure to quickly bring drugs to market will be tremendous. With increased demand for sites to carry out research it will be more difficult to ensure the quality and ethical conduct of pharmaceutical trials." Beth is focused on preparing ACT to meet the challenges posed by the dramatic growth in the pharmaceutical industry.

"The real trick will be to meet market demands while never losing sight of our goal which is to apply the highest clinical standards to the discovery of safe and effective medications."
